Section Snoqualmie Pass to Steven's Pass done!  3,5 days 70 miles/ 112 km. I have until now hiked 744 miles / 1190,4 km in 44 days!!! Omg, that is a few steps! 132 Snickers! Still loving it!

This has been a hard few days! Wow, Washington! You throw it at us; hard, steep climbs, long descends with never ending switchbacks, up one mountain, down on the other side then climb again; drenched in sweat; but what a reward; amazing views of rugged mountains and ridges, huge gorges, waterfalls and crystal-clear lakes. I am sold.

We started out from Snoqualmie without our dear friend So Good. He felt better, but really wanted to finish his hike up to the border before he had to head home. So he skipped up a section and finished up at Manning Park, Canada, today! Yey! So proud of him! You go friend!

We climbed out of Snoqualmie and soon met up on the trail with our buddy Raingear and two other Northbounders; Bites and Radio, and we have all tagged along with each other as hiker companions these days which has been fun. Lots of laughter in camp over dinner and lunch fighting mosquitoes and other biting insects that wants to feast on us. It seems to never end. Bites and Radio are a couple from LA, Raingear from Virginia. A good team!

Every day I breathe happiness, through sweat and tired feet. It just makes me ridiculously happy to be out here. I appreciate every minute.

We were so lucky to be invited to stay at Raingear's friend Eagleeye's parents last night 30 min from Skykomish. They live on a small farm with horses and I immediately got to work in the stable. Nice!

Sarah, the mom, made us a wonderful bbq dinner and we were all in heaven. Showers, laundry and DONUTS! Patchy and Raingear helped out fixing the tractor and I mucked out the horseboxes. We went all to bed full and happy. So many wonderful people out there!

So now we're making breakfast and soon the trail has us again. Next section 6 days up to Stehekin is maybe my last section, but if I have time I will push on up to the Canadian border. That would be amazing!

I never want this to end. So feet carry me. One step in front of the other carried by laughter, love and nature all grown into me. May this last forever.

See you guys in Stehekin!
