So what has happened the last days.. Hmm.. Four days; 84 miles / 134,4 km hiked. Cascade Locks to Trout Lake.

We entered Washington!! Walking over the Bridge of the Gods were quite an epic moment. Oregon done! Washington here we come!

Since then we have been climbing, climbing, climbing, sweating aaand then we descend and go down, down, down... Sooo we can climb some more! Yey! And up, up, up, sweat, aand down again until legs are sore, feet are aching and bodies completely gast.

All this is happening in the forest. I love forest but... Trees, trees, trees day in and out. No views. Makes it a mental challenge. One night mice ate holes in all our tents. Yikes! Mouse in my sleeping bag, mouse running around in my tent. Completely freak out! Headlamps, chaos. No sleep. Phew...

Then mosquitoes. Not two - millions. All over my butt when peeing in the forest. Burn them!!

But, what the hell, we love more than we hate, we laugh more than we curse, we smile more than we cry, so Cascade Locks to Trout Lake; you sucked, but now we're here drinking beer, eating pizza and all is bliss.

And! New shoes!!! Thank you Altra for making great shoes, but now enough miles on the first pair. Oh yes!! Hopefully no more blisters..

Tomorrow we hit the trail again and Mt. Adams I sure hope you have some views for us!

Life is GOOD!
